That time of year!

Hi Guys and Girls

It’s that time of year again when I think of those comrades that I’ve sadly lost in different conflicts over the years from Northern Ireland, to Iraq and Afghanistan. I have recently had the great pleasure to chat with my old mate Andy Shaw of ‘The Mountain Way’ on the subject. Andy was a legendary character in the Corps and has been a great friend over the last forty years. He now runs a PTSD charity that aims to give help to mentally wounded servicemen and women on a soldier to soldier basis. He provides an excellent course that has reached out to pull people with serious unresolved PTSD out of the mire of their misery. He provides the glimmer of light at the end of very long and dark tunnels for some of our comrades with unseen scars of combat.

I am therefore supporting ‘The Mountain Way’ with half the income I earn from the sale of my second book ‘A Falling of Angels’. It’s the second part of the ‘Sam Holloway Trilogy’ and is available both on Amazon, Troubador and on this website. I’m working with my Son Steve to try and put enough money together to sponsor at least one mentally wounded warrior next year. You can listen to the podcast on this link:
